A kettle corn bar is a fresh, low-fuss way to feed a wedding crowd. We bring the kettle to your Northern California venue, pop on-site so guests grab it warm off the tray, and can set it up as a popcorn bar or send everyone home with a favor bag. Cold Lemon Shakers can come too. Here’s how it works.
Fresh-popped, not pre-bagged
The difference guests notice is that we pop it there. Two kettles, real cane sugar, big mushroom kernels, stirred by hand at your venue while people watch. A kettle going in the corner of a reception smells like a county fair, and it pulls people over the same way. Instead of a bowl of snacks nobody remembers, it’s a little bit of an event.
We work weddings across Northern California, out toward Reno, from our home base in the Yuba-Sutter area.
Set it up as a bar or as favors
A couple of easy ways couples use us:
- A popcorn bar: we keep the fresh kettle corn coming and set out bags or cones so guests scoop their own. Good for cocktail hour, late-night snacking, or the dance-floor stretch when people want something to nibble.
- Wedding favors: send guests home with a bag. It’s a warm, hand-popped thank-you that doesn’t sit in a junk drawer.
- Both: a bar during the reception, favors on the way out.
We can talk through what fits your space and your timeline when you reach out.
Your colors, your flavors
Classic and caramel are always on, and we’ve got a lineup of specialty flavors to match the day, from The Chicago to Tutti Frutti. We can even pop Game Day Colors if you want the corn to match your palette. Ask us and we’ll figure out what works.
And since fresh-squeezed lemonade is half our name, the Lemon Shakers can come to the same setup, shaken to order, plus iced tea and Arnold Palmers. Warm kettle corn and cold lemonade is a good pairing for a summer wedding.
A quick, honest note on ingredients
Our classic kettle corn is naturally gluten-free, since it’s just mushroom-kernel corn, cane sugar, oil, and salt, and corn is a gluten-free grain. Worth knowing when you’ve got a guest list with a few dietary questions. Our flavored batches each have their own additional ingredients, so if a guest is avoiding something, ask us and we’ll tell you exactly what’s in that batch. Our booths are nut-free, though we’re a mobile popper, not a certified nut-free facility.
How to book us for your wedding
Reach out with your date, your venue, and roughly how many guests, and we’ll tell you if the date’s open and how we’d set up. Popular wedding-season weekends fill early, so the sooner the better.
