Kettle Corn at the Marysville Stampede: Sep 12-13

The Marysville Stampede is rodeo weekend right here on our home turf, and our kettle is booked for both days, Saturday and Sunday, September 12 and 13, 2026. We’re based just up the road in the Yuba-Sutter area, so this is a short drive and a favorite stop. Come find the tent, grab a bag, and cool off with a Lemon Shaker.

The quick version

Here’s what to know:

  • What: the Marysville Stampede, a professional rodeo produced by the Flying U Rodeo (Rodeos USA)
  • Where: the Cotton Rosser Arena at Riverfront Park in Marysville, CA (official site)
  • Our booth: Saturday and Sunday, September 12 and 13, 2026
  • Us: popping fresh kettle corn and shaking cold Lemon Shakers both days

Those September 12 and 13 dates are our confirmed booth days from our own Find Us calendar. For the rodeo’s own gate times, tickets, and schedule, check the official Marysville Stampede site.

A little about the Stampede

The Marysville Stampede is put on by the Flying U Rodeo, the production company started by the Rosser family, and it runs at the Cotton Rosser Arena in Riverfront Park (Rodeos USA). It’s a real Northern California rodeo weekend, and it’s one we look forward to because Marysville is home. We work events all over, but you can also find us at the market and around town the rest of the year, which is a big part of why we made a Marysville kettle corn page.

Where to find our kettle (and the Lemon Shakers)

Look for our tent both days. We pop our classic kettle corn fresh on-site, big round mushroom kernels, real cane sugar, oil, and salt, stirred by hand in the kettle. Classic and caramel are always on. Rodeo weekend is a good time to try the ones people line up for: The Chicago (caramel and cheddar together) and the Jalapeño Cheddar if you like a little heat. The full flavor lineup rotates weekend to weekend, so a few surprises ride along.

September in Marysville is still hot, so the other half of the booth is the cold half: fresh-squeezed Lemon Shakers, shaken to order, plus iced tea and Arnold Palmers. A cold 32-ounce shaker after an afternoon in the sun hits the spot.

One honest note if you ask: our classic kettle corn is naturally gluten-free, just corn, cane sugar, oil, and salt. The flavored batches each have their own additional ingredients, so ask us at the booth and we’ll tell you what’s in that day’s batch. Our booths are nut-free, though we’re not a certified nut-free facility.
