Harrison Stadium, Oroville
Harrison Stadium is the Oroville Union High School District's stadium in Oroville, CA, and after the Chico Thursday market it's the venue our kettles work most. On confirmed nights we're on the grounds with the kettle going and the lemonade shaken to order. The dates below come straight off our own booth calendar, which is the only place we say where the booths will be.

Finding our booth on a game night
Look for the tent and follow the smell. We pop classic kettle corn on site in an open kettle, big mushroom kernels with cane sugar, oil and salt going in together so the sugar caramelizes onto the corn while it pops. Sweet and salty in the same handful, bagged the same night. If you want the long version, we wrote up how real kettle corn is made.
Classic and caramel are always on. A rotating handful of the other flavors rides along, and Game Day Colors is the one that makes sense at a stadium, popped in your team's colors. The cold half of the booth is Lemon Shakers, fresh-squeezed lemonade, which still moves on a warm September evening.
Two practical notes. Come early if you're after a specialty batch, because those go first and we don't pop a second run of everything. And the stadium has its own snack bar, built into the 2009 renovation (OUHSD), so the snack bar line and our line are two different lines.
Our classic kettle corn is four ingredients, mushroom-kernel corn, cane sugar, oil and salt, and it's naturally gluten-free. Flavored kettle corn includes its own additional ingredients, so ask us at the booth about a specific flavor. Our booths are nut-free, though we're a mobile popper working events, not a certified nut-free facility.
What Harrison Stadium is
Harrison Stadium belongs to the Oroville Union High School District, not to one school. The district describes it as the venue for "high school football games, soccer matches, track and field meets and graduations," and it has also been rented out for Pop Warner, college and semi-pro football, the Lions All-Star game, Special Olympics, and law enforcement and military training (OUHSD).
The stadium you sit in today came out of a $12 million renovation in 2009, funded by the voter-approved Measure G. That project put in a turf field with a cooling and drainage system, an all-weather track, a press box, ticket booth, snack bar, parking lot, scoreboard, fencing, lighting and landscaping, plus bleachers that seat 4,200 (OUHSD). Track and cross-country meets use the same oval, and the venue keeps its own meet records going back years (MileSplit).
Address is 1920 Veatch St., Oroville, CA 95965 (MileSplit). Because the district runs five schools, including both Oroville High and Las Plumas High (Wikipedia), the home team at Harrison on any given Friday may be either one. The Tigers and the Thunderbirds even close their season against each other here, listed for November 6, 2026 (GoFan).
Which nights we're there
The box at the top of this page is the honest answer, since it reads our live calendar rather than anything typed into this paragraph. Two things worth saying out loud about it.
First, we don't work every home game. Oroville High's 2026 home slate runs September 11 against Durham, September 18 against Quincy, October 8 against Orland, October 23 against Live Oak and October 30 against Gridley (MaxPreps). Our calendar doesn't carry booth dates for the October games. If a date isn't on Find Us, we're not saying we'll be there.
Second, the one date where our calendar and the public schedule line up exactly is Friday, September 18, 2026: Oroville High hosts Quincy at 7:30 p.m. (MaxPreps). Our September 26 booth date is a Saturday, and neither Oroville High nor Las Plumas lists a varsity game that day (Oroville · Las Plumas), so we'll say what we know: the booth is scheduled, and whatever's on the field that afternoon is a question for the schools. Our calendar also holds a stadium date on Friday, November 27, 2026, listed as a sports event with no matchup named. Kickoff times, admission and schedule changes are the district's and the schools' to announce, not ours.
Oroville sits up the Feather River from our home base in the Yuba-Sutter area, and it's on the same Butte County run as our standing Thursday date at the Chico Thursday Night Market. There's more about the town and our other stops on the kettle corn in Oroville page.
Kettle corn for your own stadium or school event
We're a family operation out of Yuba City and Marysville, popping at fairs, festivals, markets and school and sports events across Northern California since 2015. Adam runs one kettle, Jeff runs the second, so two booths can cover two events on the same day.
Booster clubs, band programs and school groups usually come to us for a fundraiser night, and our fundraiser program is set up for exactly that. Worth knowing if you're organizing something at Harrison yourself: the district treats its facilities as a community resource under the Civic Center Act, and outside groups have to file a facilities use request, pay the applicable fees and carry a certificate of insurance with $1,000,000 of liability coverage naming the district as additional insured. School activities get priority on the schedule, and stadium users have to agree to the turf field and track rules. The district lists Melanie Lemos at 530-538-2300 ext. 1129 for facility questions (OUHSD).
