Yuba City Christmas Stroll

The Christmas Stroll is downtown Yuba City's holiday kickoff, put on by the Yuba City Downtown Business Association on Plumas Street (official event page). Past Strolls have brought a tree lighting, a parade down Plumas Street, live entertainment, kids' activities, food, and the downtown shops all open along a lit-up street (Appeal-Democrat). It's an evening event, so bundle up, it gets cold once the sun's down.

Look for our tent along the Stroll. We pop our classic kettle corn fresh on-site, big round mushroom kernels, real cane sugar, oil, and salt, stirred by hand in the kettle. Warm kettle corn on a cold December night is hard to walk past. Classic and caramel are always on, with a few of the specialty flavors along for the ride.

We also bring the Lemon Shakers, fresh-squeezed and shaken to order, if you want something cold to go with the corn.

Our classic kettle corn is naturally gluten-free (corn, cane sugar, oil, salt). Flavored batches each have their own additional ingredients, so ask at the booth about a specific flavor. Our booths are nut-free, though we're not a certified nut-free facility.

Most of our season runs to fairs and festivals around Northern California, but the Yuba City Christmas Stroll is our own backyard. Yuba City is the Sutter County seat, right across the Feather River from Marysville, and this is the kind of downtown night the whole area comes out for.
