Where the kettle pops in Chico

Chico is our most regular stop anywhere. The downtown Chico Thursday Night Market runs every Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m., April 9 through September 24, 2026, out on Main and Broadway. Our booth is there week after week through that final September date, one of the vendors lining the closed-off streets while the local restaurants stay open late.

We're a mobile popper, not a Chico storefront, so the market is where to catch us in town. Look for the red or yellow tent and follow the smell of sugar hitting a hot kettle. Come early if you're after a specialty batch, the odd flavors tend to be gone before the night's over. Every confirmed Chico date lives on our Chico Thursday Night Market page and on the Find Us calendar, which is the only place we post where the booths will be.

What's in the bag

Our classic kettle corn is four ingredients: mushroom-kernel popcorn, cane sugar, oil, and salt, naturally gluten-free. Flavored kettle corn includes its own additional ingredients, so just ask at the booth about any specific flavor. Our booths are nut-free, though we're not a certified nut-free facility.

We pop everything on site over a real kettle, stirred by hand and bagged fresh the same day. Classic and caramel are always on. The rotating specialty flavors, from The Chicago to Tutti Frutti, change with the season and the event. And because the fresh-squeezed lemonade is half our name, the Lemon Shakers come to every booth too, shaken to order and cold for a warm Chico evening.

Kettle corn for your Chico event

Planning a school fundraiser, church event, company picnic, or festival around Chico? We run two kettles and two booths, so we can cover two events on the same day across Butte County and the wider region. Our fundraiser program is a local favorite, fresh kettle corn tends to do the selling for you. Chico sits on the same circuit as our booth up at Harrison Stadium in Oroville and Johnny Appleseed Days in Paradise, so we're in Butte County plenty.
